How I increased the Horsepower in my Muscle Car
One of the good things about being alive, and living in 2024 is being able to enjoy a nice ride! Whether its the sounds of the car, the radio, the winds, or the thrill of the pedal push when coming out of a corner, the ride is what its all about! Its almost like our most sacred gift of time pauses for just those seconds, so we can set back and truly enjoy life. Well if you like muscle cars and the performance of those cars then you have come to the right place, because we do too! Now, we are just getting started so the content is building, but I can promise you this.
The muscle cars you see on this site will show you how they got there. Meaning the performance and the restoration of the muscle car will be documented best it can be. The ultimate goal is to increase the performance of the said muscle car not just the horsepower. So this website will have a lot of information on it about increasing horsepower and the overall package of the muscle car. Older Muscle Cars are our focus, but we do not discriminate. This is a 1992 Camaro Rs 25th Anniversary Edition. Which means it started out with the base 305 Small Block Chevy that produced a whopping 170 Horsepower and a 0-60 time of 10.4. The 350 cubic inch option would have given you the 245 horsepower, and a 0-60 time of 8.1 seconds. The body style on this year is also just a little different than the previous years. Our goals for this beautiful gem is to of course dance up the appearance of that body, while also making the times faster.
It is no Secret, we here at Project Muscle Cars love Chevys, but we grew up Mopar, and big-eyed over the Ford's Body so we love all American Muscle Cars. We do not car what Manufacturer built it we believe every Muscle Car is unique to its driver and its personality is what we try to display.
We know this is not a car. This is our shop truck that is in need of some work. Mainly maintenance but it too has some upgrades available to show. It has the 6.2 L94 engine rated at 403 Horsepower and 425 Torque. It has the 6 speed 6l80 so it can get with the program. Our goals for this baby is to take care of the maintenance first and then some style with a little more horsepower and torque. I mean who can't use a little more horsepower or torque.
Just like any other car garage or shop that builds cars and trucks, we would like the opportunity to share our cars at an event.
