A 3rd Gen Camaro Build that is stroker ready.
This is our 1992 Camaro Rs Heritage Edition 3rd Gen Camaro build up. We have had this car for some time now and the engine has went from factory 305 sbc to 350 sbc. The plans to finalize the build has changed so many times I forget. And now is a good time to put the baby in a condition to be able to do something. Seeing this car sit over the years has done nothing but hurt my soul. I have been able to work on everything else but it. At first I thought I was just going to up the 305 tbi that was in it up. How quickly that changed.
I then stumbled upon a 350 just as I was about to purchase a carb and intake for the 305. So began the engine swap. Once I swapped the 350 in I thought I would be happier with the dive but in reality I wanted more. The 350 that went into it was a stock version with a Edelbrock performer intake and 650 AVS Carburetor. It was a fun hit but after the hit it lacked a bit too much for me. So here we are. Looking to take it to the next level. I decided to try and complete two builds at one time and interchange parts. The goals will be simple.
Most 3rd Gen Camaro Build Ups get LS Swaps
This 3rd Gen Camaro 350 is getting a 383 upgrade. We have taken the engine out and about to take it to the machine shop. The 305 that has been souped up a little bit that I believe hits harder than the stock 350 will be going into the 2002 Jaguar S-type. There are plans for that one as well you will have to head over to its page or see the channel to catch the updates. The goals are simple. Have the vehicles outperform their factory selves. The Camaro has already done it in my book but we are going to put some numbers to it.
The final numbers for this 3rd gen Camaro will be to beat our Work Truck. The work truck is no slouch. It may need a page a write-up on it too. I want to have all three vehicles ready by this summer. That is a tall order. But I believe very doable. Join our Newsletter for updates about this build.
