When I purchased this 2011 Cadillac Escalade Ext Luxury truck I was just in need of a truck. Little did I know I would select the engine and package that I did. This truck now works as my work truck but is in need of some tender love and care. The original plan was just to keep the truck moving so I can do what I need to with parts and customers, but after further thoughts and consideration I have decided to let this truck be my test mule. This 2011 Cadillac Escalade Ext Luxury edition has the 6.2 L94 engine with 403hp and 425tq. It also has the Variable Valve Timing which is another reason why I love this truck. The pull of the engine with the VVT is something I believe all car or truck enthusiast should experience.

What makes this my test mule. Well when I look in my garage at the moment my truck is my fastest most powerful automobile. Now that is not how I would like it to be. So on that note, I have to build my 1992 Camaro Rs 25th to be able to at least beat my truck in a quarter mile run. As it stands at the moment my truck will leave my car at the light and every gear there thus after. I will talk about the comparisons and how I will determine when the Camaro is up to par, but as for right now we are focusing on the 2011 Cadillac Escalade Ext Luxury and giving it a camshaft upgrade!

This all started because I heard the tick. Then it got a little worse so I decided to go ahead and replace the camshaft as well. I mean why go in as far as replacing lifters and not add a camshaft who would do that? Because the truck needs a new camshaft and lifters I decided to do a test run on the results that it puts out.
